Privacy Policy
Who we are and what this Policy covers
Connacation HR Ltd., Israeli company number 516063245, doing business as Claro Mentor ("Claro Mentor", "we", "us" or "our"), is responsible for the personal information described in this Website Privacy Policy ("Policy"). Our contact details appear in Section 13.
This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information when you visit https://www.claro-mentor.com/ (the "Website"), request a demonstration, contact us, subscribe to updates or communicate with us about our business. It also covers related business interactions with prospective customers, customer representatives, partners and suppliers.
This Policy covers our public Website and business communications. It does not replace the privacy information applicable to registered product accounts, assessments, AI coaching conversations or connected workplace tools. Please refer to the privacy notice presented for the relevant product. If your organization provides access to a Claro Mentor service, it may determine the purposes for which certain information is processed, with Claro Mentor acting on its behalf under a separate agreement. Contact your organization or hello@claro-mentor.com for help identifying the applicable notice.
Personal information we collect
Information you provide. We collect your name, email address and the content of messages or requests you send us. Depending on the form or interaction, you may also provide your company, job title, telephone number, meeting preferences or other business contact information. We collect the information you choose to provide when requesting a demonstration, contacting us, subscribing to updates or participating in an event or webinar.
Business relationship information. When you represent a customer, prospective customer, partner or supplier, we may keep business correspondence, meeting and event registration details, and relevant commercial or billing contact information.
Technical and usage information. The Website and its service providers may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, referring pages, interactions with Website features, and cookie or similar identifiers. The tools used and your choices determine which information is collected.
Information from others. We may receive business contact details from your organization, a person who introduces you to us, event organizers, business partners or publicly available professional sources. We use this information for the relevant business interaction and subject to applicable law.
Providing information is generally voluntary and is not required by law. If you do not provide information needed to respond to an inquiry, arrange a demonstration or manage a business relationship, we may be unable to fulfil that request. Any required fields will be identified in the relevant form. Please avoid including sensitive information or unnecessary personal information about other people in general Website forms.
How we use personal information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, schedule and provide demonstrations, send requested materials, manage business relationships, provide support and communicate about our services.
We also use relevant technical and usage information to operate, secure and maintain the Website, troubleshoot issues, understand how visitors use it and improve its content and functionality, subject to applicable cookie and privacy requirements.
We may send updates, event invitations or information about our services where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email or by contacting support@claro.one. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary replies to your inquiries or other non-marketing communications.
We may process information to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or misuse, protect rights and security, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We may produce aggregated statistics for Website and business analysis. Information that still identifies, or can reasonably be linked to, an individual remains subject to applicable data protection requirements.
Legal bases where applicable
Where a law such as the EU or UK GDPR requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for processing that requires it, including relevant optional tracking or marketing; steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or performance of a contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; or legitimate interests where permitted and not overridden by your rights.
Our legitimate interests may include responding to business inquiries, managing relationships with organizational representatives, operating and securing the Website, and improving our services. We assess the relevant context and safeguards. These bases do not replace consent where it is required by the law that applies to the particular activity. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Website is hosted on Wix. Wix and any additional tools enabled on the Website may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the Website, maintain security and remember preferences. Optional analytics, embedded content or marketing technologies, if enabled, may collect additional information about your device and activity.
Where required by law, we request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can manage or withdraw relevant choices through the Website cookie settings. Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although this can affect some functionality.
When we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information to service providers as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including Website hosting and maintenance, communications, meeting scheduling, customer relationship management, technical support, security and any approved analytics tools. This includes Wix in connection with hosting and operating the Website. Service providers are subject to appropriate contractual restrictions where required by law.
We may disclose relevant information to business partners where necessary for an interaction you request, and to professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors where necessary for their work. We may also disclose information where required by law or a lawful request, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, address security threats or defend legal claims.
In connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of our business or assets, relevant information may be disclosed to the parties and advisers involved, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards. We may otherwise disclose information with your consent or at your direction.
International processing
Claro Mentor is based in Israel, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, together with any additional measures required by law.
You may contact hello@claro-mentor.com for information about the safeguards applicable to your information and to request a copy where available, subject to necessary confidentiality protections.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account the nature of the information, the duration of our relationship, the time needed to handle inquiries, applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements, and the need to resolve disputes or enforce rights.
When the relevant retention period ends, we delete or anonymize information, subject to lawful exceptions and backup retention cycles. We may retain a limited suppression record to respect an unsubscribe request. You may contact us to ask about retention of your information.
We maintain technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, the applicable law and the nature of the processing, you may have rights to access your personal information; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion or restriction; receive certain information in a portable format; object to certain processing, including direct marketing; or withdraw consent where we rely on it.
Under Israeli law, you may have rights to inspect information held about you in a database and request correction or deletion of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or outdated, subject to the conditions set out in law. Where applicable, you may also have rights concerning direct mailing.
Where applicable US state privacy laws provide such rights, you may also request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising or certain profiling, limit specified uses of sensitive information, and appeal a decision about a rights request. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the applicable law and whether the relevant processing occurs.
California residents may also request information about certain disclosures to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, where that law applies.
To make a request, email hello@claro-mentor.com. We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an authorized representative, where appropriate and permitted by law. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable exemption or refusal. We do not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by law. If an appeal right applies, reply to our decision or contact the same address to request review.
You may also complain to the data protection authority with jurisdiction over your information. For processing under the EU or UK GDPR, this may be the authority where you live, work or where an alleged infringement occurred. For information processed on behalf of an organizational customer, we may refer or forward the request to that organization and assist as required.
External services
The Website may link to external services, including meeting booking services and social networks. When you use a service operated by another provider, that provider may collect information under its own privacy notice. Please review the relevant notice before submitting information. A link to an external service does not make this Policy apply to that provider.
Children
The Website and our business communications are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through the Website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact hello@claro-mentor.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. We will post the revised Policy with its update date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights.
