No two people are driven the same way.

The Motivational Operating System™ maps 30 distinct drivers for each person, so no one gets flattened into a type.

The Motivation Multiplier

Talent, knowledge, and skills add up. Motivation multiplies them.

Best Performance =
(Talent + Knowledge + Skills) × Motivation

Drivers explain why people bring their energy or hold it back

They stay stable day-to-day and shift only with stages of life

Most tools measure skills and traits. Claro starts with drivers

Every Person Is More Than a Type

Tidy categories are easy to remember, and wrong about people.

Two people who "value growth" can be driven in opposite directions

Claro keeps all 30 drivers separate and ranks them for each person

Managers stop managing to a type

The same change means different things to different people: Influence, Autonomy, Achievement, Consistency, Belonging, Recognition

The Science Behind It

Built on 70 years of motivation research, redesigned for work that changes every quarter.

> Grounded in Maslow, McClelland, and Self-Determination Theory

> An interactive diagnostic built on behavioral economics

From Individual to Team

A team is not an average of its people. It is a mix of energies that creates momentum or friction.

> Fit changing work to lasting drivers

> Freedom with clear accountability

> Recognition that fits the person

In the Flow of Work

Insight that stays in a PDF changes nothing.

> A two-minute monthly energy pulse

> Claire, an AI mentor tuned to each person's drivers

How We Built It

Classic motivation models were built for a simpler world.

We started with a deep review of the literature and the classic theories of motivation. They reduce people to archetypes, and people don't fit in boxes. So we rebuilt the model from the ground up, in three steps.

Out of the box

Breaking down the classics

We took the classic models apart, down to their root elements, and mapped more than 40 core drivers of human behavior.

670

People in the field

We tested the drivers through focus groups and interviews, and narrowed them to the 30 that matter most.

30

Drivers in the assessment

Built on a behavioral economics model that reduces the biases of traditional assessments. Designed as a conversation, not a test.

Validated, Not Assumed

8,500+ people have taken the assessment to date.

Three measures show how well it holds up:

92%

Explained variance

The assessment explains 92% of the variance in expert ratings (n=360).

0.87

Test-retest reliability

People get the same results when they retake it (n=360).

0.78

Internal consistency

Cronbach's alpha, a standard measure of how well the items hold together (n=870).

What Each Person Gets

A personal blueprint for their top 5 drivers:

> How to use them

> What happens when they go unexpressed

> The environment where they thrive

> The blind spots to watch for

Diagnosis is only the starting point.

Claro's AI tools translate each person's insights into daily practice: how to manage, collaborate, and make decisions in ways that work with their drivers, not against them.

“I check people’s drivers before meetings. It changes my tone completely.”
