Frequently Asked Questions
Claro Mentor is an AI coaching platform that maps what motivates each employee and uses it to keep managers and teams aligned with business priorities. Its AI coach, Claire, turns that understanding into practical guidance for everyday work, helping managers and employees navigate change, improve collaboration, and move priorities forward.
Claro supports managers, employees, and HR leaders. Managers receive guidance for everyday people challenges. Employees gain a clearer understanding of what drives them and how to develop. HR and leadership gain insights that help them support alignment across teams and the organization.
Two people with similar skills can respond very differently to the same task, feedback, or change. Motivations help explain those differences. Understanding what drives each person helps managers adapt how they communicate, delegate, and support performance, while giving employees practical insight into how they work best.
A Motivational Blueprint is each person's five leading drivers, out of 30 universal motivational drivers. It shows what fuels them, what drains them, how they decide, and what they need from others. Each person discovers theirs through the Motivational Drivers Discovery, and Claire uses it to personalize every coaching conversation.
Claro is built specifically for people and organizational challenges. Its guidance draws on a structured motivational profile and the organization’s context, connecting individual needs with shared priorities. That gives coaching a consistent foundation across situations, from a difficult conversation to a personal development plan.
No. Most HR tools collect data about people. Claro acts on it: Claire combines each person's motivational drivers with your organization's goals to guide everyday decisions, conversations and change, inside the calendar and the tools your people already use. Microsoft Teams and Slack are rolling out now.
Private coaching conversations with Claire are not visible to managers. Managers and HR receive insights through the relevant team and organizational views. Access to other information, such as profiles or shared development plans, should be clearly explained during onboarding so employees understand what is visible and to whom.
Claro Mentor is SOC 2 Type II compliant and uses encryption and role-based access controls to protect information. For questions about data handling, access permissions, or your organization’s security requirements, contact us to discuss the relevant details.
Claro brings together your organization’s context and each person’s motivational profile. Our proprietary, science-based Motivational Drivers Discovery identifies each person’s five dominant drivers out of 30 universal motivational drivers. Claire uses these insights to provide personalized coaching, while team views and pulse check-ins help reveal where alignment needs attention.
Change asks people to work differently, often before they feel ready. Claro helps managers consider how different people may respond and adapt their communication and support accordingly. For example, one employee may need more autonomy in implementation, while another needs clarity about expectations and next steps.
Yes. MyQuest helps employees connect their motivations, strengths, and aspirations with meaningful development opportunities, including growth within their current role. Claire guides them from exploring possibilities to choosing a focus and building a practical action plan they can work on over time.
No. Each person completes the Motivational Drivers Discovery, about 15 to 20 minutes, and they're in. Once the whole team has completed it, the value is immediate: guidance built on how each person works, from the first conversation.
Claro is designed around situations people already need to handle: meetings, conversations, decisions, and development. After the initial assessment, users can bring a specific challenge to Claire when they need support. The aim is to make those moments more productive and easier to navigate.
Start with the outcome that matters to your organization, such as clearer priorities, stronger collaboration, progress on development goals, or adoption of a new way of working. Review progress against a baseline using relevant business measures, participant feedback, and Claro’s pulse insights. Usage helps show adoption; outcomes show value.
